you to Scolton Manor Country Park,with its Manor house,museum,coffee shop,and play area.

There are 10 cottages at Scolton,the smallest for 2,
the largest for 7. the cottages are conversions
from the original stone farm buildings which are set
around a large courtyard,surrounded by acres of
farmland and woodland, a small lake (fenced) with

All the cottages are completely self contained,with central heating,fully equiped kitchens, microwaves and showers.There is is a communal utility room with washing machine dryer and freezer. Beds are made up. Fresh flowers are placed before arrival, and fresh milk is available daily. For our younger guests we have cots, high chairs and stairgates. We have bikes and push toys, books and games -- even spare wellies ! There are picnic tables for each cottage around the courtyard where gas barbeque sets are available.To barbeque and watch the sunset over Plumstone mountain is wonderful. |
